Few weeks ago I visited the really cool Transformer HD DVD promo booth in Akiba, but since  I don't have an HD player I bought the DVD version. But seems that a Japanese gamer found a way to watch the Transformers HD DVD version on his Playstation 3. Yesterday, the Japanese satellite TV Mondo 21 has announced Game Generation X : a documentary dedicated to 8 bit videogames that will be releases next February. The DVD, created with support of 8bit legend Shin Masaru, will feature 18 of Xevious perfect play and a brand new nes-like game called  Mr Splash.

Today walking in Akiba (near the Yodobashi "Death Star" Camera megastore) I found a really cool HD DVD promotional both focused on the release of the brand new Transformers HD DVD. The HD DVD Promotion Gruop is doing its best to fight against Blu Ray and push customers to buy HD DVD players during this Christmas. I tried the Toshiba Vardia RD-A301 and I'm really impressed by this HD Hardisk recording, HD DVD  recorder. People who will buy this the RD-A301 before 31 January 2008 will get a free Transformers HD DVD and limited edition Voyager-class Starscream (Starscream Vardia Red Model) in a a special red and gold paint .

Ok, being a NeoGeo freak I know I shouldn't say this but almost in porno, 3D is better than 2D (of course, videogames are totally another story)...

Actually this could be a good game to train for the 2007 World Rock Paper Scissors Championships that will be held in Toront in october. Anyway after this release Sony will state that UMD VIDEO format is alive and kicking and that UMD VIDEO is dominating the portable video media market...

Tron, il leggendario film Disney, ha compito 25 anni di vita il 9 luglio. Su Gamers troverete uno speciale dedicato a questo indimenticabile capolavoro del cinema.
